While our “official” name is Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, folks around this part of the country know us as “The Jesus Saves Church”. That is because for over 50 years, we have had a big glowing neon sign on the front of our building proclaiming “Jesus Saves” and we know that’s true!
We are a Bible-believing, New Testament, old fashioned ‘country’ church. Visitors are welcomed warmly and we still sing the old hymns. If you’re looking for a new church home, we hope you’ll stop by and attend. We’d love to have you!

5th Sunday Singing!
May 31, 2026 is the fifth Sunday in May! That means 5th Sunday Singing! Woo-hoo! Polish up your voice, tune the guitar, ukulele, banjo, harmonica, fiddle or harpsichord (we’ll provide the piano) and come on out to join us to worship our Lord in song! 6pm is when we’ll get started.
